There are 16 DMC threads called for in the pattern. This pattern is beginner-friendly and includes full cross stitches and backstitching.
We recommend a dark desaturated blue fabric to mimic a night sky. It will also look good on a number of lighter fabrics. If using a lighter fabric we recommend doing a floss toss to make sure the colors stand out well. Avoid using a white or very light fabric as a large portion of this pattern has light colored thread and it will blend.
